A dupla americana Telepathe vem ao Jameson Urban Routes apresentar o seu segundo disco de originais Destroyer. Melissa Livaudais e Busy Gangnes constituem uma das várias bandas que tem tornado o bairro de Brooklyn na sede de muita da pop mais caleidoscópica e imprevisível dos últimos tempos, família que inclui nomes como os Gang Gang Dance, Yeasayer, High Places ou Animal Collective.
Destroyer foi editado em inícios de agosto e chega a Lisboa naquela que é a primeira tournée europeia da dupla depois do hiato de seis anos. Os americanos tocarão assim no próximo dia 23 de outubro, no segundo dia do festival.
ALTERAÇÃO DE FORMATO: o regresso de EL GUINCHO será em formato djset e não concerto, como inicialmente acordado com a organização.
As razões são explicadas pelo artista:
“Everlasting is sad to have to inform all El Guincho’s fans in Lisbon that Pablo won’t be able to bring his new live show to this year’s “Jameson Urban Routes”. Pablo was excited that Music Box had given him the chance to début the material from Hiperasia at the festival. Lisbon is a special city for him, and Music Box is a venue he loves to play at.
We underestimated the complexity of putting together a completely new set with new musicians and other performers. the show just comes too soon for us and we have to apologise to the organisation and all El Guincho’s fans. We need more time to put together the spectacle.
However, Pablo will be with you all on show day, and performing a DJ set. Hope to see you all there.”
