Affet Robot – “Fırtına” (video) [Threshold Premiere]

Affet Robot (meaning Forgive Robot) – the solo project of the Istanbul based musician Eren Günsan – is releasing today a new music video for the track “Fırtına“, included in his new EP Huzursuz Seyirler that is out this Friday. This new release comes out two years after his debut in the music industry with the LP Röntgen, a collection of eight songs that combines some darkwave/new-wave characteristics with a synth-pop ambiance. Within this world, Affet Robot creates his own atmosphere by gathering some influences from the obscure side of the 80’s and creating something that puts the past and the present hand in hand.

Huzursuz Seyirler EP was recorded at Red Bull Studios in Amsterdam and brings together compositions that include analog synthesizers, drum machines, reverbed vocals, chorus laden 80’s iconic guitars and melancholic Turkish lyrics. To celebrate the release of this new material Affet Robot is premiering a new music video for the theme “Fırtına” – directed and edited by Yağmur Akın Karagöz.
